This tool turns plaintext (e.g. “evaM mE sutaM”) into IAST unicode characters (“evaṃ mē sutaṃ”), and lets you quickly copy the output into whatever application you’re using. It's intended for scholars of classical South Asian languages who otherwise need to set up keyboard shortcuts on every single application (Word, PowerPoint etc.) to type with the prōpēṛ ḍiacrīṭic mārkś.
To use it: download the file; extract the contents somewhere on your computer; then click "unicodify.exe". A readme file is included with more detailed instructions, a character map, and my email to give me feedback. Let me know if you find this useful, any changes you'd like made in the next version, or if you'd like the character map customised for your language/preferred shortcuts!
